3rd Annual Inter-Club Drag-strip Trophy Challenge

Saturday 6th October, Santa Pod Drag Strip, Northamptonshire.

After a full summer of Jap-Car Drag events at Santa Pod, it’s reached the time of year for the annual drag-strip day. The invited clubs are: IMOC, ROC, OC, and Two Brutal. This is a fun event taking place on a regular RWYB day at Santa Pod, the day before the Jap Show finale shoot-outs. It can tend to get busy on the strip, so early arrival is advised to get signed on for a few early runs down the strip. To sign on you will need your full driving licence and fill in an indemnity/entry form in the office near the start line of the drag strip. Any modifications, including NOS, are allowed for this club competition. To register your interest in this event you can email me or check out the thread in the event section of IMOC. There will be trophies for the fastest cars in each category.

I will try and book a club stand for this event, but last year we were given a plot miles away from the strip, so we ended up congregating together randomly near the strip queue. Basically look for other MR2s and make yourself known. The prize-giving is likely to be in the early afternoon, so get as many runs in as you can in the morning. You will need to have your quarter mile slips ready so we can see your best run.
